Aloe Vera and arthritis

I am writing an article about arthritis at the moment and came across this information which might be of interest to people with arthritis:
Turmeric: Ease arthritis
A heaping helping of curry could relieve your pain. That's because turmeric, a spice used in curry, contains curcumin, a powerful anti-inflammatory that works similarly to Cox-2 inhibitors, drugs that reduce the Cox-2 enzyme that causes the pain and swelling of arthritis.

I am not sure what Turmeric is:I have just googled it and ..... Turmeric ( Curcuma longa ) is a rhizomatous herbaceous perennial plant of the ginger family....so there you go.
