MLM With business prospects growing with innovative methods being applied in the business world, one of the recent day terms that has popped up is MLM or Multiple Layered Marketing that has opened up a lot of opportunities.

This kind of marketing has grown due to basic fact that people these days do want to earn more not confining themselves to a single source of income. MLM, which is known in context of network marketing, actually opens up chances of promotion for directly selling companies for product sales they personally generate. The multiple layering comes through the number of distributors that sales the products and both the company and the distributors gain from the sale. There is no role of selling or promoting through other agencies and the products are marketed by the consumers and potential business partners who use strategies like experience of the product use and word of mouth marketing.

Donald Trump is a famous name associated with the use of MLM marketing. Amway, has been doing well in many countries besides US and it runs on MLM system.

Multiple Layered Marketing is an extremely successful strategy that had successfully worked in almost all the states of the US and in over 100 countries all over the world. Due to its easy application, its also been called ‘affiliated marketing” or Home Business franchising.

Its major plans include, Hybrid plan, Binary Plan, Matrix Plan, Unilevel plan and Stairstep Breakaway plan. Though price fixing is big threat to it, the Federal Trade Commission in USA does not shun it as illegal.

While choosing a MLM opportunity, one must always do some research about the company, since there are many scam MLM companies too.
