I have a few tips for the care of your lamp, which you may find helpful.
Salt lamps and tea lights are hygroscopic due to their mineral make up
and should not be situated in any place subject to high humidity or water.
Should the salt lamp become wet, gentle warming will re-dry the salt crystals
to their normal state.
Switching on the bulb or lighting the candle should be
sufficient but care must be taken to ensure that the electric fittings are
Completeltly Dry.
To clean the lamp simply use a dry cloth or light bristled
brush.
To change the bulb, I use a screwdriver to ease the fitting out of the lamp and then just re-screw in a new bulb.
If you wish to use the lamp in your bedroom it might be an idea to have a darker light so you can sleep. To do this, get a darker colour bulb or simple paint the bulb a dark colour.
I hope you find that helpful and if I can assist you in any way please just ask.
Enjoy
